About TaiChi and me My name is Zhiyi Fang(Art) (in Cantoness Jeeyee Fong), born in April, 1968. I'm a big fans for Chinese traditional Martial Arts. I started practicing Chen Style in 1988, studied it from the 11th generation of Chen's Style Master ChoiGang Cheung in Shanghai. Four years later, I was fortunately meet with another Yang Style Master ManSam Ng, and started learn from him for another 5 years. Accumulated I've studied and practiced Taichi for nearly 40 years. I lived in Ontario for about four years since 2017. I used work in Beach Grove Home Health PEI as volunteer, help residents rehabilitation exercise and demonstration Taichi for them. Original, the two styles' of Taichi are the same ONE. They just appear in two completed different appearance, Chen's Style appears Tough, Hard, Fast, Explode... while Yang's Style appears Tender, Soft, Slow, Constriction.... and their training path are two quite the opposite directions, but they both has a same goal, to mould a COMPLETED body, which combining two characters Ying and Yang. Through these years' practicing, I deeply realized it and would like to share it with whom interested it. This drilling is ORGANIC, it's NON-harmful thing, the rest thing about Taichi l'd like to say. We don't using any instrument. Even though it does has, but as beginner, we just use our body, that's enough. We use our hands, legs, feet, our own weight, breath, minds, other than equipment. It won't do any harm to your muscles, joints, tendons but do help for rehabilitate them. Through the practice, you'll feel an interior power is growing up in your body. You'll be energetic to settle your business, deal with people, and you'll have a good sleep without nightmare, you'll have a excellent state. You'll have a beneficial habits to fit with the stressful modern life. I promise it.
